Over the weekend I had the opportunity to meet a new SAS customer. For the sake of privacy, we will call her "Janice." Janice was wearing a brace to help support her ankle from many many surgeries she has had over the years. Her doctor told her that if she doesn't wear her brace everyday, the bones in her ankle may break again, and she would have to undergo an amputation.
Ms. Janice was at the end of her rope. These braces are super bulky, and can be so hard to fit into a shoe. Janice came into our store with shoes that she cut out the toe box just to make room for her brace. She needed help badly.
This is normal for us to see. An experience like this can also be embarrassing and frustrating for the customer. Our staff here at SAS Citrus Heights understands what the customer is going through and we have the compassion and expertise to assist and help remedy the situation. This isn't the first time we have met someone who felt defeated, like her. Ms. Janice didn't know what to do. The great news is we were able to find her a new pair and she said they were so comfortable that she wanted to wear them right away...and so she did! Ms Janice wore her Tour Mesh Silver 11ww out.
Here at SAS shoes Citrus Heights, we carry so many lengths and widths that we are able to fit most braces in our shoes.
